| 15-11-24 | Additional NVWA checkpoints: Rodents' water supply: Rodents and rabbits should be offered sufficient fresh drinking water (a piece of fruit is not sufficient), food and sufficient space in their shelters (mainly rabbits should be offered sufficient hay); Stated in the regulations on 3.2 Pet and hobby animal list: The pet and hobby animal list will be checked extra. More information at: https://vhm-events.com/nl/wetgeving-evenementen-2014 This will also be checked during the fair. In concrete terms, this means that animals that are not on the list and were born after 1-6-2024 may not be offered. Animals that are not on the list may also not be given the opportunity to reproduce. NVWA expects that sexes are offered separately or that the exhibitor can demonstrate that the animals have been (chemically) castrated/sterilized. Drone: During the fair, drones will be used outside to check whether strange things are happening, such as trade (transfer) of animals outside the fair hall. This is not allowed as stated in the municipal by-laws. |
